O.K. - Helllo This is updated as of June 16th 2016.
A blog, and possible diary for the long run. On the posts below this one, they show a transition in my life, from before as of late May 2013. The Dad died, that was exactly the family crisis. At first the people in the family said he went to the hospital for a bad back, a sliped disk. Then they said he had cancer, so I changed the bank account to the one a block away from the house, Bank O Popular. His whole dieing time, took a month or so. I knew I was on Soc. Sec. Medicare, and thought maybe I'll end up being ok with assisted living.
I stoped trusting everyone in the family but, I was still hoping they would help, or be there in the long run. The months leading up to this, nurses were coming to look after gramma and help her in the morning. Maintaining her was hard on me, the woman in the morning, and the dad guy. This time of looking after her and dealing with TV's was a year and 2 month's that went by. So, after the dad died; a month or so later I called the paramedic's. The sisters were in and out of the house with groceries, as time went on. I wanted to get my heart checked and get a sleeping pill. I needed some rest. I woke up that day not knowing I was going to call them. I ended up waking up a couple times, once I saw a clock it said 1 am. and another time, it was dark out and I thought I was in an ambulance. Then, I ended up at Nothshore Hospital. Then basicly, they offered the idea to me, of going to a nursing home. I decided yes, that would help me much more than assisted living. Assisted living means when I run out of food go to the grocery store and get it. Or, use what were trying to provide for you. A Nursing home means just come downstairs to the lunchroom and get your meal. They nickname it Café 901.
OK for me what made me happy! was making some money. It's not the bank it's the name of it.
Chase.
So, the last few days at the condo I was a little scared. There were people from the apartment across from me. When I was coming in one day, they grabed me for a second or two. I knew they were young guys and thought I was ok but, my back hurt for a little while and then it went away. The next day the police came and arrested one of them, out in the parking lot, as I was looking out the window. The guy was swearing pretty loud even as he was being arrested so, I thought he was a real asshole. I couldn't fall asleep; I made scrambled eggs at 3 in the morning, and then I passed out. That's how the week was going.
After a stint at Northshore hospital I ended up here at Albany Care. At first I saw the two sista's that helped me get back to the condo and grab some clothes, and belongings. That was a big help I thanked them for that,( in the moment )we even stoped at taco bell; and sang shaft I shot the sherrif but I did not shoot the deputy. They gave me a few dollars and we all said we cared. Later, I saw my cousin joanna, she gave me a twenty and put a picture of me on facebook. So, now it's been a while, and what can i say accept thanks.
